Substance Use Disorder Treatment

About Substance Use Disorders

Substance use disorder (SUD) is diagnosed using the DSM-5 criteria, which evaluates impaired control, social impairment, risky use, and pharmacological criteria. SUD frequently co-occurs with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

Co-Occurring Treatment

At Clearwater, we treat SUD alongside any co-occurring mental health condition through integrated outpatient care that combines individual therapy, group support, and medication-assisted treatment when clinically appropriate.
