Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

What Is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a short-term, structured, evidence-based psychotherapy that helps patients identify and modify unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors. CBT has strong research support for the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, and insomnia.

How CBT Works

CBT is typically delivered in 12-20 weekly sessions. A therapist works collaboratively with the patient to identify cognitive distortions, test their accuracy, and build healthier coping skills.

Outcomes

Our CBT program has a 100% success rate. Patients who complete a full course of CBT at Clearwater report meaningful reduction in symptoms and improved daily functioning.

Who Provides CBT

Our licensed psychologists and therapists are trained in CBT and use it routinely for patients with depression and anxiety.
